Agatunet  Agatunet is one of the very few farm villages still left. At the end of 13th cebtury, Aga was the property of one man. Through the centuries the property was repeatedly split up between his descendants. Up to 1940 p farmers were living in the village consisting of 80-90 buildings. |
Baroniet Rosendal  Baroniet Rosendal is one of the most important museums found in Western Norway. Being situated “at the entrance of the Hardangerfjord”, this castle is the only barional manor in Norway. Today the castle is a well known museum for “the Danish period” in the Norwegian history.

Halnøy Kloster  Halsnøy Kloster is situated on the island Halsnøy in the southern part of Kvinnherad.
The Monastery of Halsnøy was completed in 1164 by the famous Norwegian viking Erling Skakke - his son, Magnus Erlingson, was the King of Norway. In the late Middle Ages, this monastery was one of the biggest landed proprietor in Western Norway.
